By The Tree was an American contemporary Christian rock band that emerged in 1997. Over their decade-long career, the group established themselves through a combination of self-released and label-supported recordings. After releasing two independent albums, they partnered with Fervent Records for six additional projects. The band achieved significant recognition with their 2001 album Invade My Soul, which earned two Dove Awards. They further solidified their prominence with the chart-topping single "Beautiful One," becoming one of the notable acts within the Christian rock genre during the early 2000s.
