Sehnsucht is the second studio album by the German industrial metal band Rammstein. It was distributed through Motor Music in Europe and Slash Records in the United States during August 1997. The album achieved significant commercial success, reaching the top position on both Austrian and German charts. It remains the only album sung entirely in German to receive platinum certification from the RIAA in America.
