The Brian Setzer Orchestra

The Brian Setzer Orchestra is an American swing and jump blues ensemble formed in 1992 by Brian Setzer, formerly the frontman of the Stray Cats. The group achieved mainstream recognition with their 1998 album The Dirty Boogie, which featured a cover of Louis Prima's classic "Jump, Jive an' Wail." Known for blending rockabilly, swing, and jazz influences, the orchestra continued their success with the subsequent album Vavoom!, which included the single "Gettin' in the Mood." The band has maintained a distinctive approach to reviving vintage swing and jump blues styles for contemporary audiences.
