The Bongos

Bongos were an American musical group active from 1980 to 1987. The band emerged during the post-punk era and developed a distinctive sound that drew from various influences of the period. Their relatively brief but impactful run in the 1980s established them as notable contributors to the underground music scene of that decade. Though their time together was limited, Bongos left a mark on American rock and alternative music during their years of activity.
