Produced by Butch Walker, "Everything Has Changed" is a guitar-led folk-pop ballad. Its lyrics are about wanting to know a new lover better. "Everything Has Changed" peaked at number 32 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
