Songs of Experience is U2's fourteenth studio album, released in December 2017. It was created as a companion to their earlier album Songs of Innocence from 2014. While the previous work focused on the band members' teenage years in Ireland during the 1970s, this album takes a different thematic direction. The project features contributions from multiple guest artists and was developed by a large production team.
