A Runaway Girl is an Edwardian musical comedy created in 1898 by writers Seymour Hicks and Harry Nicholls, with music composed by Ivan Caryll and additional contributions by Lionel Monckton. Lyrics were provided by Aubrey Hopwood and Harry Greenbank. The production, mounted by George Edwardes at the Gaiety Theatre in London, opened in May 1898 and achieved significant commercial success, running for 593 performances. The cast featured Ellaline Terriss and Edmund Payne.
