A 1946 recording by Louis Jordan and his Tympany Five, credited to songwriters Fleecie Moore and Danny Baxter, released by Decca Records. It became the first song that year to reach the top of the R&B chart and was the first of five Jordan releases to achieve number one status in 1946. The song also reached number nine on the pop charts and became a double-sided hit when its B-side similarly topped the R&B chart later that year.
