Destroyer is the fourth studio album by Kiss, issued in March 1976 through Casablanca Records. It achieved top 40 status in the US, marking the band's third consecutive album to do so, and became their first to reach the charts in Germany and New Zealand. The album earned gold certification in April 1976 and platinum certification later that year, making it the band's first platinum-certified release. The album represented a shift away from the rawer sound of their previous three studio efforts.
