Rick Wakeman's third studio album is a progressive rock concept album centered on King Arthur legends, released in March 1975 by A&M Records. Wakeman composed the material while hospitalized following a heart attack in summer 1974, developing ideas through written notation and cassette recordings. The album was recorded during his world tour supporting a previous release, with select tracks performed live across Japan, Australia, and New Zealand in early 1975 before the official release.
