Eight Days A Week

Procol Harum All songs A–Z

"Eight Days a Week" was composed by Paul McCartney and John Lennon, with McCartney originating the concept. The song appeared on the Beatles for Sale album in December 1964 internationally, though in North America it emerged as a single A-side in February 1965 before inclusion on Beatles VI. It achieved significant commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming the band's seventh chart-topper in that position. The single also topped charts in Canada, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
