This was Neil Diamond's tenth studio album and his third release with Columbia Records. It was released in 1976 and produced by Robbie Robertson, the musician known for his association with The Band. The album featured contributions from Garth Hudson of The Band, who played organ on multiple tracks. Diamond later performed one of the album's songs at The Band's final concert, which was documented in Martin Scorsese's 1978 film.
