A composition by Jagger and Richards, the song was first released in February 1965 by multiple artists including Dick and Dee Dee and The Mighty Avengers. Tracey Dey also recorded a version on Amy Records. The Rolling Stones released their rendition on the 1965 US-only album December's Children, which featured Brian Jones on 12-string electric guitar and Keith Richards on 6-string guitar. The track did not receive a UK release until appearing on the 1971 compilation Stone Age.
