"Revolution" is a song written by John Lennon and credited to Lennon–McCartney. The Beatles recorded three different versions in 1968 during sessions for their self-titled double album. One version features a slow, bluesy style on the album, another is an abstract sound collage also on the album, and a third faster hard rock version was released as the B-side to "Hey Jude". The single version was released before being recorded, several weeks after an earlier take, and was intended for single release. A music video was filmed using the single version's backing track.
