Blue Hawaii is the fourth soundtrack album by Elvis Presley, released by RCA Victor in both mono and stereo formats in October 1961. It accompanied the 1961 film of the same name. The album achieved significant commercial success, spending 20 weeks at number one and 39 weeks in the top ten on the Billboard chart. It received multiple platinum certifications and was one of the most successful soundtrack albums of the 1960s, ranking second only to West Side Story.
