"Chiquitita" is a track from ABBA's sixth studio album Voulez-Vous, released in 1979, featuring lead vocals by Agnetha Fältskog. The song went through several working title variations and was recorded relatively late in the album's production process. It was issued as the lead single on 16 January 1979 through Polar Music. The group first performed the single at the Music for UNICEF Concert. The track replaced "If It Wasn't for the Nights," which had originally been designated as the lead single but was ultimately kept as an album-only song instead.
