This song was recorded in 1974 by the Swedish pop group ABBA, with Björn Ulvaeus performing lead vocals. It initially appeared as a B-side to their 1975 single "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do." Following the success of that single in Australia and New Zealand, "Rock Me" was released as an A-side in April 1976, achieving chart positions of number four in Australia and number two in New Zealand. The track was later included on the band's Greatest Hits Vol. 2 compilation in 1979.
