Vertical Man represents Ringo Starr's eleventh studio album, released in 1998 as part of his effort to achieve commercial success following the popularity of The Beatles Anthology. The project featured contributions from numerous musicians including Scott Weiland, Brian Wilson, Alanis Morissette, Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Petty, Joe Walsh, Timothy B.
