This EP served as the debut release by the American pop rock group the Bangles in 1982 through Faulty Products. Following the original label's closure, it was reissued in 1983 by I.R.S. Records. The five tracks on the EP remained difficult to obtain for many years, though individual songs occasionally resurfaced. The complete EP was later included in the band's 2014 compilation album.
