"Highdown Fair" is the English version of Angelo Branduardi's album "Alla fiera dell'est," originally released in 1976 by Polydor. The album achieved recognition by winning the Italian Music Critic prize in the year of its release. The English adaptation, featuring lyrics by Peter Sinfield, was released in 1978, following a French version released two years earlier.
