The Beta Band

Beta Band is a Scottish musical group established in 1996, comprising Steve Mason, Robin Jones, John Maclean, and Richard Greentree. Their sound merges elements of folk, psychedelia, electronica, post-rock, and trip hop, characterized by experimental arrangements and occasional comedic touches. The band gained considerable recognition during the early 2000s, earning praise from prominent acts including Radiohead and Oasis. Radiohead notably selected them as support for their concert dates in 2001, significantly raising their profile within the alternative music scene.
