Bilingual is the sixth studio album by the English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, released in the United Kingdom in early September 1996 and in the United States shortly after by Atlantic Records. The album achieved fourth position on the UK Albums Chart, performing lower than their previous five studio albums. It produced four successful singles, three of which reached the UK top 10, while the fourth single peaked within the top 20 on the charts.
