Teairra Mari is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, and actress from Detroit, Michigan. Born in 1987, she began her recording career as a teenager, signing with Def Jam Recordings and Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records at age 16. Her debut studio album, released in 2005, reached number five on the Billboard 200 chart and featured the hit single "Make Her Feel Good," which achieved significant chart success on the Billboard Hot 100. Mari has worked across multiple entertainment disciplines throughout her career.
