"Tornerò" is a downtempo love ballad released in 1974 as the debut single by Italian group I Santo California. The following year, it achieved significant commercial success, reaching number one in Italy for three consecutive weeks in June and July 1975 and earning gold certification. In Switzerland, it topped the charts for six consecutive weeks in September and October 1975 and became the year's best-selling single there. The song also performed well in German-speaking countries as a top five hit and has subsequently been covered by many artists across different languages.
