The Johnny Burnette Trio was an American rockabilly and pop group active from 1951 to 1957. Formed in 1952, the band featured singer and songwriter Johnny Burnette alongside his brother Dorsey Burnette and guitarist Paul Burlison. Initially known as the Rock and Roll Trio, the group became influential figures in the early development of rockabilly music during the 1950s. Though the band's initial run was relatively brief, their contributions to the genre left a lasting impact on rock and roll's formation.
