Bonnie McKee is an American pop singer, songwriter, and actress born in 1984. She released her debut studio album, Trouble, in 2004 through Reprise Records. After being dropped by the label, McKee shifted focus to songwriting, where she achieved significant success, penning ten chart-topping singles in the United States and United Kingdom that collectively sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Following a hiatus from recording, she returned to performing music in 2013 with the single "American Girl." In 2015, McKee independently released the EP Bombastic, reasserting her presence as a recording artist.
