Los Del Rio is a Spanish musical duo from Dos Hermanas, Andalusia, consisting of Antonio Romero Monge and Rafael Ruiz Perdigones. Formed in 1962, the group specialized in Latin pop and flamenco-influenced dance music. They released their debut album, Luces de Sevilla, in 1967 and went on to produce over 20 recordings throughout their career. The duo achieved international acclaim with their 1993 single "Macarena," which became a global phenomenon following its 1995 remix by the Bayside Boys, establishing them as icons of 1990s pop culture.
