Primitive Man is the second studio album by Australian rock band Icehouse, released in September 1982 through Chrysalis Records. Founder Iva Davies began recording the album in early 1982 as largely a solo effort, collaborating with co-producer Keith Forsey, a musician who would go on to work with other notable acts. Davies handled most instrumental duties while Forsey contributed additional percussion to the project.
