The Souther, Hillman, Furay Band
The Souther–Hillman–Furay Band was an American country rock supergroup formed in 1974, featuring singer-songwriters Richie Furay, Chris Hillman, and JD Souther. Active for just one year, the band released two albums during their brief tenure in the mid-1970s. Internal disagreements and personality conflicts between the three principal members led to the group's dissolution in 1975, cutting short what had initially promised to be a significant collaboration among established songwriting talents.
