The Bluetones

The Bluetones are an English indie rock band originating from Hounslow, Greater London, established in 1993. The core lineup comprises vocalist Mark Morriss, guitarist Adam Devlin, bassist Scott Morriss, and drummer Eds Chesters. Keyboardist Richard Payne joined the ensemble from 1998 to 2002 and continues to appear as a touring musician. Prior to their official inception, most band members—excluding Chesters—performed together in a preceding group called the Bottlegarden. The band's sound draws from indie rock, britpop, and jangle pop traditions within the broader alternative rock spectrum.
