Crosby, Stills & Nash was an American folk rock supergroup formed in 1968, comprising singer-songwriters David Crosby and Stephen Stills alongside English-American vocalist Graham Nash. When Canadian musician Neil Young joined the lineup, they became known as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. The group distinguished itself through sophisticated vocal harmonies and became influential figures in American rock music. Beyond their musical contributions, the members were known for their political engagement and complex interpersonal dynamics. The group remained active until 2016.
