The Methadones

The Methadones are a punk rock band established in 1993 by guitarist and vocalist Dan Vapid in Chicago, Illinois. Initially short-lived, the group was shelved as Vapid focused on other musical projects. In 1999, Vapid revived The Methadones with bassist B-Face and drummer Dan Lumley, recording their debut album Ill at Ease in 2001. Following this release, both B-Face and Lumley departed, leading Vapid to assemble a fresh lineup featuring guitarist Mike Byrne, bassist Sensitive Pete, and drummer Mike Soucy. The band remained active until 2010.
