Schürzenjäger

Zillertaler Schürzenjäger was an Austrian volkstümliche musik ensemble from Tirol, active from 1973 to 2007. The group specialized in traditional Alpine folk music, a genre deeply rooted in Austrian cultural heritage. Operating during a significant period for German-language folk revival, the band became known for their contributions to the volksmusik scene. Their work reflected the musical traditions of the Zillertal region, helping to preserve and popularize this distinctive style of Austrian folk music.
