Bad Boys 2 Soundtrack is a compilation album released in July 2003 through Bad Boy Records and Universal Records to accompany Michael Bay's action-comedy film of the same name. The album achieved significant commercial success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and selling over 324,000 copies in its first week. It became one of the few film soundtracks to reach the top position on the chart. The Recording Industry Association of America certified the album platinum in August 2003, marking over one million units shipped.
