Vince DiCola

Vince DiCola is an American composer, keyboardist, and arranger born in 1957. He has established himself as a prominent film score creator, contributing to major motion pictures including Staying Alive, Rocky IV, and The Transformers: The Movie. DiCola is recognized for his innovative approach to film composition, particularly through his pioneering use of sequencing technology on the Rocky IV soundtrack. His work was among the earliest to fully harness the sequencing capabilities of advanced synthesizers such as the Fairlight CMI and Synclavier II, significantly influencing the production of film scores in the 1980s.
