Tug of War is Paul McCartney's fourth solo studio album, released in April 1982. It marks his first album following the end of Wings and comes in the aftermath of John Lennon's death. The album features cover artwork by Brian Clarke, a visual artist who frequently collaborated with McCartney, combining an abstract oil painting with an overlay incorporating a portrait photograph taken by Linda McCartney.
