Paul McCartney All songs A–Z

"The Fool on the Hill" is a composition by Paul McCartney from the Beatles' 1967 Magical Mystery Tour EP and album. It was written and performed by McCartney but credited to the Lennon–McCartney songwriting partnership. McCartney has stated that his inspiration came from the Dutch design collective known as the Fool, who took their name from a tarot card, and potentially from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
