Trik Turner

Trick Turner is an American rap rock band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 1999. The group achieved widespread recognition with their 2002 hit "Friends and Family," which climbed the Billboard Modern Rock chart and garnered substantial airplay across MTV, VH1, and adult contemporary stations. The track notably became the first song to have two distinct music videos broadcast on MTV, each featuring different thematic elements. The band made appearances on several late-night television programs and contributed music to the film Mr. Deeds and the television series Scrubs. After internal conflicts led to lineup changes and their departure from RCA Records, Trick Turner continued performing and released their second album, Naming the Unidentified, in 2005, moving toward an alternative rock sound.
