Tauheed Epps, professionally known as 2 Chainz, is an American rapper, songwriter, and actor from College Park, Georgia. He initially gained prominence as part of the Southern hip-hop duo Playaz Circle, formed with fellow Georgia artist Earl "Dolla Boy" Conyers. The group signed to Ludacris' Disturbing tha Peace label and achieved notable success with their 2007 debut single "Duffle Bag Boy." 2 Chainz has since established himself as a significant figure in contemporary rap and trap music, contributing to the broader Southern hip-hop and Atlanta rap scene.
