"Aneurysm" was composed by the three members of Nirvana: vocalist Kurt Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic, and drummer Dave Grohl. The track initially served as a B-side accompanying the band's major single "Smells Like Teen Spirit" in September 1991. A subsequent studio rendition was later included on the compilation album Incesticide, which came out in December 1992.
