Takida is a Swedish alternative rock band originating from Ånge, established in 1999. The group's name derives from an unexpected source: a character from the Japanese anime series Silver Fang, whose name was mispronounced in the Swedish version of the show. This mishearing became the inspiration for the band's distinctive moniker. Since their formation, Takida has maintained an active presence in the rock music scene, contributing to Sweden's alternative rock landscape.
