The Sylvers were an American R&B family vocal group from Watts, Los Angeles, active from 1971 to 1985. The group's four oldest members initially performed as the Little Angels, making television appearances and opening for major artists including Johnny Mathis and Ray Charles before adopting the Sylvers name. As the Sylvers, they achieved chart success in the 1970s with singles such as "Fool's Paradise," "Boogie Fever," and "Hot Line," establishing themselves as a notable presence in rhythm and blues music during the decade.
