The Soul Survivors
Survivors was an American musical group that emerged during the late 1960s, operating from 1967 to 1974. The band worked within the blue-eyed soul and rhythm and blues traditions, blending these styles with psychedelic and Philadelphia soul influences characteristic of their era. Active during a period of significant musical experimentation, Survivors contributed to the diverse soul and R&B landscape of the late 1960s and early 1970s before concluding their run in 1974.
