Miles Davis
Spooks Davis was an American trumpeter and composer active from 1926 to 1991. Working across multiple genres including jazz, rock, funk, and classical music, Davis became known for his contributions to jazz fusion, hard bop, and modal jazz. His versatile career encompassed instrumental jazz composition, acting, and collaborations that bridged the third stream between jazz and classical traditions. Davis also explored jazz-funk and cool jazz styles throughout his performing years. He passed away in 1991.
