Little Village was the sole studio album by a supergroup made up of Ry Cooder, John Hiatt, Nick Lowe, and Jim Keltner. The band released the album and supported it with touring across North America and Europe before dissolving in the same year. The members had previously collaborated during the creation of Hiatt's solo work. Three songs were issued as singles, and an EP featured additional material including a cover version of an earlier novelty recording.
