Simon Dupree & the Big Sound
Simon Dupree & The Big Sound was a British psychedelic rock group active from 1966 to 1969. Founded by brothers Derek, Phil, and Ray Shulman, the band blended pop sensibilities with psychedelic and rock influences characteristic of the era. The Shulman brothers would later gain recognition for their work in the progressive rock band Gentle Giant, establishing themselves as significant figures in both the psychedelic and progressive rock movements of the late 1960s and beyond.
