Heathen Chemistry is the fifth studio album by the English rock band Oasis, released in July 2002 by Big Brother Recordings. It marked the first album recorded with new guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell following their recruitment after the previous studio release. The album is distinguished as the final one to include longtime drummer Alan White, who departed in early 2004. It was notable for being the first Oasis album where songwriting contributions came significantly from band members beyond lead songwriter Noel Gallagher.
