Sheila on 7 is an alternative rock band formed in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on 6 May 1996. The group emerged from the Indonesian rock scene with an original lineup featuring Akhdiyat Duta Modjo, Saktia Ari Seno and Eross Candra on guitars, Adam Muhammad Subarkah on bass, and Anton Widiastanto on drums. Over their active career, the band experienced significant lineup changes, with Anton departing in 2004 and Saktia leaving in 2006. Brian Kresna Putro later joined as drummer before his own departure in 2022. Blending alternative rock with pop rock elements, Sheila on 7 has remained a notable fixture in Indonesia's rock music landscape.
