Shai Hulud

Shai Hulud is an American metalcore band originating from Pompano Beach, Florida in 1995, later relocating to Poughkeepsie, New York. The group takes its name from the enormous sandworms featured in Frank Herbert's science fiction novel Dune. Operating within the metalcore and melodic hardcore genres, Shai Hulud has maintained an active presence in the post-hardcore and hardcore music scene since their formation, establishing themselves as notable contributors to the metalcore movement in the United States.
