Serú Girán was an influential Argentine rock supergroup active from 1978 to 1982. The ensemble brought together four accomplished musicians: Charly García, David Lebón, Oscar Moro, and Pedro Aznar, each with established credentials from prior projects. The band synthesized progressive rock, art rock, and Latin influences into a distinctive sound that blended jazz-rock and symphonic elements with pop sensibilities. Widely regarded as one of the most significant acts in Spanish-language rock history, Serú Girán distinguished itself through both musical innovation and ambitious theatrical presentations, leaving a lasting impact on the Argentine rock scene.
